Edge of the Bay Resort is located at Coles Bay, on Tasmania's East Coast. It has magnificent views across Oyster Bay to the pink granite mountains of the Freycinet Peninsula.
This intimate family-run resort is right on the water's edge and offers two styles of accommodation; traditional family cabins set amongst the Sheoaks, and stylish contemporary ensuite rooms right on the beach with their own private deck.
You can explore the area by bicycle, hit the bay in the resort's dinghies, explore Freycinet National Park, go wildlife spotting at dusk, fish for the day; flathead are bountiful here. The resort has tennis courts.
One of the most memorable experiences is to sit in the Edge of the Bay restaurant watching the sunset reflected on the mountains of the peninsula. The restaurant focuses on local seafood and produce served with the best Tasmanian wines.

This location is truly amazing. The room was beautiful and well equipped and had a view out to the bay. Coles Bay is stunning and the room matched. The beach was only a very short walk away. The location has a very nice restaurant that we were happy to keep going back to. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again when we return to the area.
